Building strong relationships with the community we serve
Each year, HPD hosts National Night Out, a free community event that brings together residents and law enforcement for an evening of food, fun, and fellowship.
The event features free food, games, educational booths, live music, bounce houses, vehicle displays, and all-around family fun. It's an opportunity to learn more about HPD, meet our officers, and enjoy time as a community.
HPD serves with a Community First thought process. We host and participate in many community events throughout the year, providing public education and developing relationships to bridge the gap between citizens we serve and the members of our agency.
From our officers rounding up livestock and fixing fences to the opportunity to interact with those in need at the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter, HPD takes advantage of the opportunity to make a difference every day.
The Highfill Police Department regularly participates in community festivals, fairs, and special events throughout the year. Look for our officers and vehicles at local events.
We provide educational programs on topics such as crime prevention, personal safety, and how to report crimes. These programs help empower our community.
HPD offers programs specifically designed for senior citizens, including safety presentations and resources to help protect against scams and fraud.
We support neighborhood watch programs and can help residents organize and maintain active watch groups in their communities.
The Highfill Police Department is committed to building positive relationships with youth in our community. Our officers regularly visit local schools to:
We believe that early positive interactions between youth and law enforcement create a foundation of trust and respect that benefits the entire community.
